Sale & Co Pty Ltd provides this website to help you browse Machinery, Boats and Vehicles, make enquiries and manage purchases. Use an account you are authorised to access, keep its details accurate and protect your password. Bidding and purchasing are intended for people aged 18 or over.
Do not submit misleading information, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with the website. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the service.
Read the full listing, including condition notes, known faults, recorded hours or kilometres and included attachments or accessories. Ask us to clarify any detail that matters to your intended use and arrange an inspection where available.
Confirm registration status, available safety or roadworthiness documents and any additional warranty for the individual item. For boats, review hull and engine information, recorded engine hours, included equipment and whether a trailer is part of the sale. Inspections and sea trials are by arrangement and depend on access and suitable conditions.
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). The listing and quotation identify the GST treatment. The total payable includes applicable GST and unavoidable charges; freight that depends on your destination is confirmed before you commit.
Applicable transfer duty, vessel or vehicle registration, trailer registration and insurance may be payable separately; your sale documents identify what is included. Provide the correct billing name and business details when ordering so the invoice can be prepared accurately. Tax invoices are supplied where required.
Check the auction conditions, any reserve, closing time and applicable fees before placing a bid. Buy Now uses the fixed price shown for the listing. The listing and sale documents set out the applicable purchase process and payment terms.
Review the order details before confirming. Any deposit, payment deadline, finance condition or cancellation arrangement must be agreed in writing. Contact us promptly if you need to discuss a payment or order.
Collection, transport, loading and unloading arrangements are confirmed for each item. Provide an accurate delivery address and let us know about access restrictions. For boats, confirm the collection location, transport dimensions and weight, trailer suitability and any lifting or cradle requirements.
Delivery timing depends on the route, carrier availability and the unit’s dimensions and weight. Check the delivery window, transport costs and handover arrangements in your quotation.
The sale documents should identify the boat, engine, included accessories and any trailer. A hull identification number (HIN) or official number identifies the vessel for a PPSR watercraft search; an included trailer has its own VIN and must be considered separately.
Vessel and trailer registration are separate. Transfer, operator licensing and safety-equipment requirements depend on the state or territory, vessel and intended use. Check the included equipment and its condition against the waters where you plan to operate. Commercial operation may involve additional AMSA requirements.
Registration or a listing description does not establish that a marine survey, mechanical inspection or sea trial has been completed. Any supplied reports and additional warranties are identified in the sale documents.
Consumer guarantees can apply to second-hand goods and business purchases. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where those guarantees apply, a major failure allows you to choose a refund or replacement, or keep the goods and seek compensation for their reduced value. A minor failure can generally be repaired without charge within a reasonable time. Further remedies may apply if it is not resolved.
Contact us with your order reference and details of the fault. For large or heavy goods covered by consumer guarantees, we will meet the applicable collection or return-transport obligations. Keep receipts for reasonable return costs.
Any additional warranty or agreed change-of-mind return policy is set out in the sale documents and is separate from these rights.
We can provide machinery, boat or vehicle details and purchase information for your chosen lender. Finance approval and lending terms are arranged with the provider. A purchase is conditional on finance only where this has been agreed in writing.
